Sun Safety

Apply sunscreen 1/2 hour before going out
Reapply every two hours
Avoid direct sun between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm
Use a broad spectrum sunscreen that protects against UVA and UVB rays
Use generous amounts covering every inch of exposed skin
Even cloudy days have dangerous UV rays
Use a minumum SPF of 15 unless you burn easily or have a family history of skin cancer
Newer products come in lighter gels and sprays
